Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Email this link

The Township of Centre Wellington owns property east of the existing limit of Dickson Drive in Fergus. In order to facilitate development of these lands, the Township is proposing to extend Dickson Drive, the existing municipal services and establish a Storm Water Management strategy. The proposed works will provide access to municipally serviced (water and sanitary) industrial, commercial, and/or institutional employment lands, and a multi-use path within the Centre Wellington Business Park in Fergus, to allow for continued economic growth and promote a live/work opportunity within the Township.

The Process:

The Township is initiating a Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) in order to evaluate alternative road/servicing alignments and Storm Water Management strategies to establish a preferred option. The project is being planned under Schedule B of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (October 2000, as amended in 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2021).

How to Participate:

Public input and comments are invited for incorporation into the planning of this project. A Public Information Centre for this project will be held as the project progresses to share information with and solicit input from interested stakeholders.
