Project Description
The Township has planned for the replacement of the watermain on Douglas Crescent from Forfar Street to Gzowski Street. This watermain has seen multiple breaks in recent years and has reached the end of its service life. Construction will also include the replacement of a section of sanitary sewer and a new pavement structure.
This project is scheduled to begin in late spring 2026 and be completed by December 2026.
During construction, Douglas Crescent between Gzowski Street and Forfar Street E will be closed to through traffic. In general, local access to properties will be maintained; however, short-duration restrictions may occur from time to time based on construction activities. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. Whenever possible, the contractor will provide advance notice in case access to your property will be temporarily affected.
